Our Board of Directors

Hi, my name is Chuck and I am Director of Operations for NEARPS. I have studied the Paranormal for many years and back in 2007 my wife and I decided to form a group to help people who have things happening in their homes and have nowhere else to turn. I believe spirits and Hauntings do exist although most supposed Hauntings can be explained by natural means. Therefore, we take an open minded approach to our investigations. When not investigating, I spend my time working on the NEARPS website or working at my full time factory job. I have been an Amateur Radio operator since 2002 and I also have experience at computer repair and custom builds, website design, and general computer knowledge. For this reason, I also currently run the Tech dept. at NEARPS, although this will someday be delegated to someone else who can run it to our exacting standards.

Hi, my name is Dana and I am Director of Information for NEARPS. I must admit that until we formed the group, NEARPS, and started publicly investigating the paranormal, I was a firm skeptic. Since then, however, I have had many personal experiences and have captured numerous anomalies on camera and on audio that cannot be explained by natural means. I am now a believer in the paranormal and urge anyone who is a skeptic not to "knock it until you try it". When not investigating, I stay busy by taking care of my husband and two children, Austyn and Becca, not to mention our three dogs and two cats. In my spare time, I enjoy playing games online and watching movies.

Hello, my name is Pam Nations. I am Director of Investigations for NEARPS. I am very glad to be a part of this wonderful, professional group of investigators. As far back as I can remember, I have always had interest and experiences with the paranormal. I am very interested in learning more and helping others with their experiences. I have done some small investigations on my own but now I am so fortunate to be able to be a part of this group to expand my knowledge and learn as much as possible. I look forward to our many investigations together. I have lived most of my life in Marmaduke, AR. I have worked as a Certified Nursing Asst for 19 yrs. In my spare time I LOVE doing investigations and helping people feel more comfortable and that they are not alone in what they are experiencing or feeling. Whether it be through evidence or just talking about what is happening to them and/or their family. I also build websites on occasion, play games on the computer and spend time with family and friends.

Hi! My name is Trina. I'm new to the group but have had a long standing interest in the paranormal - very happy to meet a group of like-minded individuals. I was born and have lived most of my life in Jonesboro. I am a grandmother of three and an RN. Although I don't regard myself as psychic, I do feel that I am intuitive and have experienced several types of paranormal phenomena first hand. I enjoy meeting new people and look forward to getting to know the group and learning from everyone.

Hello my name is Billy Vanderbilt and I live in Monette, AR. I am proud to say
that I am a member of NEARPS. While new to the team I have had a interest in the
paranormal for many years. Having lived in a location that I truly feel had
activity I learned to cope with it and my interest grew. My wife and I are both
new members to NEARPS and look forward to helping people who might have a
problem. I feel it is important to mention that the term ghost hunter brings
visions of the TV show so many of us watch. I consider myself a paranormal
investigator not a ghost hunter. I want to help people who think they have a
problem, be it paranormal or not.

Hi all, my name is Jamie and I am proud to say that I've joined the NEARPS team! I am just an average 28 year old mother of 2 beautiful little girls, who happens to have always had a strong fascination with otherworldly events. I love to hear about others experiences and figure this is an excellent way to gain first hand knowledge of the subject. I am very excited to be a part of this team and look forward to whatever journeys may lay ahead.

Hello, my name is Michelle White and I live in Gainesville, AR. I'm a 42 yr. old mom of two grown boys, the eldest being a Marine Iraqi Vet. I remarried in 2009 to the greatest man I've ever known. I've had many, many paranormal experiences throughout my life, which started at the early age of 3. The paranormal area is one of my lifelong passions and I'm looking forward to broadening my horizons and knowledge with NEARPS. I've always been "intuitive" but tend to seek out rational, scientific explanations for activity before deeming it truly paranormal. I use my gift as a guide and it's helped me many times to find "hot spots" and other activity. I'm extremely proud to be a member of this wonderful group.

My name is Connie Coffel and I'm 25 years old, I'm married with two children Victoria 5 and Zackary 3. I became interested in the paranormal when I was little when I had experiences of my own. I'm very glad to have the chance to help people who have experienced the same things I have. I look forward to helping the team in any way that I can and can't wait to work with and learn from the wonderful people of the Northeast Arkansas Paranormal Society.

Hello I'm Brett, I'm 32 years of age and a new member of the NEARPS team. I have been interested in the paranormal since I had my own experiences in the home of a family member. I have a serious mind but I am also easy going and have a kind personality and hope that I'll be an asset to the NEARPS team. I can't wait to see what I can do for NEARPS and those in need of our services.

Hello all! My name is Katrina Beaver and I am excited to be a member of NEARPS. I am married and we have 6 children and I am a stay-at-home mom. I am a paranormal fanatic. I had my own paranormal experience in 2002 and have been a fanatic since. One of the places I want to visit before I pass is the Stanley Hotel. In my spare time, which is very rare, I like to play computer games, Guitar Hero, and fishing.

Katrina has moved to New Mexico, we have decided to leave her pic and bio up and we hope that she will accept our offer of an honorary membership and get a chance to investigate with us sometime when she returns to the area for a visit.

(For those of you who may be wondering, we do not take children to private residence investigations or any other formal investigation. We do hold activities that the youngsters can participate in and have a lot of fun.)

Hi, my name is Becca and I am a Junior Investigator of the group, NEARPS. I am a firm believer in the paranormal and I have witnessed many things since I have started investigating with the group. I use my digital camera and help Mom and Dad with the EVP work sometimes. I have a lot of fun investigating but I am old enough to understand that our work must be taken seriously, especially when dealing with clients who need our help. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and playing on the computer. I am a huge Taylor Swift fan and I am SO happy that mom and dad got me tickets for the concert in Jonesboro, AR on April 24, 2009. It was SO much fun!!! I am also a fan of Kellie Pickler. I am in the 7th grade and joined band last year to learn to play the flute.

Hi, my name is Austyn and I am only 8 years old so I don't get to go on a lot of investigations. Mom and Dad let me go along sometimes when they aren't going to do an investigation at someone's house and aren't going to be out too late. I really enjoy it, especially when Dad lets me use the EMF thing that beeps and has a flashing light on it. I believe in ghosts because I have seen them. Sometimes, I can see ghosts when no one else can. This happened once at Scatterville Cemetery near Rector, AR. I saw a ghost of a black man hanging from the "Hanging Tree" by his neck. He spoke to me and said "Take Me Down". It was kind of scary but Dad said that he wasn't going to hurt me and that he was just asking me to help him. Dad recorded me when I was telling him about it, ask him to let you hear it sometime. I would have helped him but I didn't know how except to pray for him and ask Jesus to save him. I enjoy playing games on my Nintendo DS , watching Sponge bob Square pants, and riding my bike.

This is all of the NEARPS team until we add another member. Dana and I believe that each and every member is a valuable asset to our team and look forward to many investigations together.
