(Investigation conducted on 5-7-2010)

Claims of Activity:  Instances of a "white man" who shows up in the night and says things to a 5 year old that awakens and frightens her.  Bangs and crashes heard by the client from downstairs,  upon going upstairs to inspect nothing is found out of place and no explanation can be found. Overall feelings of not wanting to be at home.

Family members affected: A 5 year old female child, a 6 year old female child and their mother.

Before the Investigation:  We showed up early and spoke with the 5 year old and her mother about the things that they have been experiencing and where, when, etc.   Once we got all the information down,  we started setting up all of our equipment.  We were focusing solely on the upstairs area, so we set up our command center in the clients dining area.  Let me add here that the client was a very gracious host and may we say Thank You for keeping your coffee pot full for us!  It really means a lot to us when we have to drive 70 miles to get home after investigating until 4 am !

During the Investigation:  The area to be covered in this residence was not very large and so we only ran 3 infrared DVR cameras and 2 Digital Voice Recorders.  The 3 cameras and one audio recorder ran for the full duration of the investigation, but a second recorder was added on a hunch by Investigator Pam about 3 1/2 hours into the investigation.  Let me add here that this was Pam's first investigation since joining the NEARPS team and she did an absolutely wonderful job!  We hope this will be the first of many investigations for her as a member of our team!

After the Investigation: Upon full analysis of all the data collected on the night of the investigation,  the NEARPS team was unable to provide any evidence of paranormal activity.  This includes analysis of about 18 hours of video and about 27 hours of audio, as well as about 600 still digital photos that were shot during the investigation.  Therefore, it is the opinion of the Northeast Arkansas Paranormal Society that this residence does NOT exhibit any form of paranormal activity. 

Follow Up Help and Support: As always,  we have assured the client that we will be available 24/7 should any further help be needed.  We have also offered to do follow up investigations,  if the client feels that our findings on the night of this investigation are not conclusive.  Client advises NEARPS that she will contact us around the second week of July while the girls are visiting their dad for the summer.
