The administration and staff at NEARPS,  do not, nor have we ever,  presented pictures of orbs as paranormal evidence.  We feel that the subject is far too controversial to even consider.  We may, in the future, post a page showing what the commonly photographed anomalies look like and give an explanation of what possibly caused it in the camera.  Orbs will never be presented as paranormal on our website and we urge other serious paranormal groups to follow suit. -- NEARPS

This case was a private residence investigation in Paragould, AR.  The clients have given their permission for this information to be posted.

Claims of activity include seeing shadows, dog barking at "nothing" in various places in the home,  young children being scared at night, odd noises, etc.  Children have also pointed at something their father could not see and asked "Who's that?" 

Upon our arrival, the clients entreated us to a tour of their home and showed us all the "hot spots"  We then began setting up and had our first unusual experience of the night.  The DVR system would not work, no matter what we tried.  We decided to simply record video using the camcorder and we set it up in the master bedroom.  Incidentally, the DVR worked just fine the next morning when we tried it at home.  Paranormal?  Not necessarily, it could be a simple malfunction that corrected itself.  However, this incident with the DVR system has never happened again, either before or after this investigation.  We also place voice recorder in each of the rooms and decided to "go dark" after establishing baseline readings for EMF and Temperature.  We had several investigators present that night so we decided to send teams of 2 or 3 in at a time and each team went from room to room making observations and doing EVP Q&A sessions.  After everyone had gone in, we decided to let our equipment run for a while with the house empty.  Clients appeared tired and ready for us to wrap up around midnight,  so we took down our equipment and got ready to go around 1 AM. 

We analyzed everything and found nothing on video or still camera shots other than the usual bug flying around or speck of dust.  We analyzed the audio and hit pay dirt when we encountered some disembodied voices.  Below you can see what we found and presented to the client:

As you can tell from the EVPs above there does seem to be some type of intelligent activity going on here. 

Clients were very pleased with the service we provided and our findings were just what they expected. They have invited us to do a follow up investigation later this summer.
